The Kerala community in Dublin
welcomed Fr. James Manjackal with a
bouquet before the start of the retreat

On Holy Thursday, Fr. James conducted the
washing of the feet during the Holy Mass.
He washed and kissed the feet of twelve children.

All the participants kissed the Crucifix after the Good
Friday service. They observed their Kerala tradition
of drinking "bitter juice". A spoon full of juice crushed
out of "bitterguard"- leaves was given in the palm of each one
