Setubal - Portugal. May 25 - 27. 2012
From 25th to 27th May Fr.James conducted a retreat of Pentecost in the Auditorium of Our Lady of Annunciation at Setubal, Portugal. People from all over the country had gathered there to celebrate the feast of Pentecost. There were people from Spain, France, England, Poland etc also present to hear the word of God to be filled with the Holy Spirit. All the talks of Fr. James about the action and unction of the Holy Spirit in the individuals families and the Church. For those had already attended a renewal retreat, the talks were very good for growing in the Holy Spirit. After preparing the people with a deep inner healing, Fr. James laid hands on each one and prayed for the "infilling" of the Holy Spirit.Here are some photos:

Trip to India - May 7 - 19. 2012

 Fr. Abraham  Vettuvelil. MSFS, the provincial of the South West province of the Missionaries of St.Francis De Sales released the latest book of Fr.James Manjackal titled "Liberation from the Curse of the Law" (A catholic book on Family tree healing) at Vinayalaya, the provincial house, Bangalore on 19th May.

Gdansk - Poland. Marriage of Adam and Ewa.  May 3rd. 2012
On 3rd May Fr. James along with Gaby went to Poland to bless the marriage of Adam and Ewa at St. Stanislav's Church at Gedansk. Through retreats both of them became the spiritual children of Fr. James and they wanted their marriage be blessed by him. He celebrated the mass and blessed the marriage in Polish and gave an inspiring homily on the Sacrament of marriage. Agnieszka translated it in to Polish.Both Fr. James and Gaby participated in the party and dinner in a nearby hotel. There were many cultural programs. The parents of the bridegroom welcomed the newly wedded couples in to the party by offering them bread and salt as sign of blessing and prosperity.

Lyon - France. April 27 - 30. 2012
Fr. James preached a retreat of New Evangelization frm April 27th to 30th in the parish hall of the Holy Trinity Church, at Lyon, France. It was organized by Maryvonne Lavalloir, Patricia Paulhiax, Ann Marie from Evianetc in the name of L'Association Catholique Fontaine d'Eau Vive. Over 600 people from all over France attended the retreat. There were a few from the Island of Reunion, Martinique, Mauritious etc. People from African countries and UK also represented in the retreat. The talks were new and different from other retreats, so even those who attended several times his retreat said," O, it is quite new, we have never heard such teachings in the past", as a result there was a great demand for the DVDs of the retreat. Gaby Landauro gave a beautiful testimony about her conversion and that of her family, and talked about her present life as a consecrated person. Maryvonne also gave a very inspiring testimony of her conversion, new life and of her present enthusiasm to work for evangelization in France. At the first talk, a person by name Ferdinand from Paris fell down from his seat with a heart attack and was dead for about few minutes according to the doctors. All the participants along with Fr.James prayed, and he came to life with the assistance of the doctors and now he is able to have normal life. All testify it as a great miracle! Praise The Living Lord Jesus who fives life to His people. On the second day of the retreat His Eminence Cardinal Philippe Barbarin officiated the Holy Mass in which Fr. James preached on the Holy Eucharist. The Cardinal spoke very highly about his evangelization works in His Arch Diocese and in the whole world. He made special prayers for his works in the Islamic countries. It was for the fifth time that Fr. James preached in the same place. There were many testimonies of conversion, healing and new life. Consecration - Piding. Germany. April 23th. 2012
On 23rd  April, a few friends of Fr. James celebrated the 39th anniversary of his priesthood in the house of Richie at Piding in  Germany. It was an occasion for Fr. Florian, (a religious priest), Sr.Julita, (a religious sister) Traude, (a widow), Richie & Jenine (a married couple) to make a consecration of their lives to the Lord in the Charis Marian covenant community. It is recently that Fr.James introduced such a program of consecrated life for any one who decides for a holy life in the Catholic Church. Here are some photos.

Brno - Czech Republic. April 20 - 22. 2012
From 20th to 22th Fr. James preached to 180 married couples at Bishop Gymnasium Brno, Czech Republic.A few young people who were ready to marry soon also were there with their fiancees. All the Talks all married life based on the Bible and the teaching of the Catholic Catechism gave all the participants totally a new outlook on  married life. The testimonies of Dr. Richie& his wife Jenine with their five children were very inspiring. All of them with one voice said that it was for the first time that they had such a chance in their lives to reflect deeply on the dignity of their vocation as husband&wife. The inner healing prayers & infilling of the Holy Spirit helped them to be born again and to look at their spouses as new persons. When Fr. James conducted the renewal of their Matrimonial Vows, they felt themselves to be new couples in the Lord. When Fr. James sprinkled the Holy Water on their hands while exchanging the rings, many shed tears of joy. Fr.James laid hands on each couples and prayed for them.Gaby presented them all a picture of the Sacred heart of Jesus to be framed& to be kept in the center of their homes to say the prayer of Consecration daily. The majority of the couples were young.Hence there were about 120 children too.Only for the mass they came to their parents, otherwise they had separate program.During the Mass, the children made beautiful prayers  of intercession to the Lord. The five year old James, the son of Richie& Jenine gave an amassing testimony at the beginning of the Mass on the second day. Hanna from Koclirov played a key role in singing, translating,and moderating the whole program and she radiated much grace & love on all the participants. Vaclav also was a translator to Fr.James. The deacon Joseph Mucka and His wife Helena helped Radek and Zusanna very much in the organisation of the programs in Brno. Their children were there to sing& play in the music group. Peter Kollar with his son Dominik Kollar received holy Baptism from Fr. James during the mass of saturday. Here are some photos:

Brno - Czech Republic. April 19th. 2012. One day program
On 19th Thursday Fr.James preached and offered a Holy Mass in St.James Church, Brno inn Czech Republic from 5 PM to 9 pm. The Church was crowded with about 2000 people. Many priest from the diocese attended the program and concelebrated the  Holy Mass with Fr.James. Very Rev. Mons. Vaclav Slouk, the dean and canon  introduced Fr. James to the crowd. Deacon Joseph Mucka gave him  the official permission of  Bp. Vojtech Cirkle , the local Bishop with a gift from the Bishop. Radek  gave  him the icon of Syril & Methodius, the apostles of Czech Republic and His wife Zusanna gave a bouquet to wish him the birthday (that was on 18th). It is Radek& Zusana Lapcikovi who organised the whole "New evangelisation  program" of Fr. James in Brno.The inspiring speech of Fr.James on "Meeting Jesus the Living Lord" touched the hearts of many and many made good confessions. The prayers of healing before the blessed Sacrament brought peace& joy to all present and healing to many.

Graz - Austria. April 13 - 15. 2012
Fr. James preached an evangelization retreat in the auditorium "Brauhaus Puntigam" at Graz, Austria from 13th Friday to 15th Sunday, the Sunday of the Divine Marcy. Over 300 people attended the retreat. The theme of the retreat was "The Risen Lord Jesus is living amidst us today through His life giving Spirit, The Holy Eucharist and the Church". All the talks were very special and unique, so even those who attended his retreats for several times did not find any bit of his talk boring. Dr.Richie gave a talk on inner healing presenting Christ who became fully man who carried the problems of man. On Sunday Fr. James spoke very clearly about the Mercy of God as His Divine love that goes after the sinner, the lost, the forsaken, the sick, the wounded, the poor etc. All his prayers were very anointed touching the hearts of many to conversion, inner healing and physical healing. Fr.James is well known for his preaching and healing services all through out Austria. At the end of the retreat Fr.Florian, the main organiser, thanked Fr. James and wished a "happy Birthday" on behalf of all present.

Porto - Portugal. March 30th - April 1st. 2012
From 30th of March to 1st of April Fr. James preached retreat in the Auditorium "Casa de Vilar" of the Diocese of Porto, Portugal. It was a special retreat about the Passion of Christ.At the beginning of each conference, Fr.J ames asked the participants  to enter Gethsmane in spirit and truth to meditate on the sufferings of Christ especially on the Blood that He  shed during His passion at several  places to expiate the sins of mankind in order to bring life and salvation. It was for the first time that he gave such beautiful reflections on the Passion Christ in a retreat in Europe, so the participants were very eager and enthusiastic to hear every bit of his preaching. So many people ordered for the DVDs of his talks to listen to them again and to give it others. The prayers for inner healing and infilling of the Holy Spirit were very powerful and anointed. There were many testimonies healing and conversions. The retreat was arranged and organized by Arnaldo & Claudina Paixao with a team of prayerful and committed people. After praying over each participants in the after noon on Sunday, Fr. James prayed over the photos and blessed the religious articles as usual. About a thousand people attended the retreat and returned to their home on Sunday evening with the experience of the Risen Lord. The Lord Jesus is Risen indeed-Alleluia; and He lives with us and we are a risen people.

Valladolid - Spain. March 16 - 18. 2012

Fr. James preached a retreat of Evangelization in Sala Borja in Valladolid, Spain from 16th to 18th March. More than 300 people from all over Spain and the canary Islands participated in the retreat. As the majority of them had already attended a retreat previously with him, he was giving talks on growing in Christian life through the Holy Spirit. All his talks and prayers were translated by Gaby Landauro.On the Second day the Vicar General of the Diocese Rev.Fr. Luis  Arguelles  celebrated the Holy Mass; and he was there for confessions on two days. There were many testimonies of healing and conversions. Here are some photos.

A charismatic and international retreat in Valladolid

People from all the Autonomous Regions and from nearly all provinces of Spain, including the Canary Islands; from Portugal, Italy, England, Ireland, Croatia and Poland; and from various Latin American countries, have come to Valladolid and packed La Sala Borja Theatre, during last weekend, from Friday the 16th till Sunday the 18th of March, to attend a Retreat of Evangelization with Father James Manjackal (www.jmanjackal.net), charismatic and Missionary preacher, from the Order St. Francis of Sales.

It has been a wonderful time, at the feet of Our Lady of Fatima and the Merciful Sacred Heart of Jesus, whose holy images presided the event, which lasted three days (16th, 17th and 18th of March). Now, those who attended the retreat do not cease to give thanks, some of them to praise God; others to give thanks for the blessings from previous Retreats; Many, seeking physical or spiritual healing for themselves or for their offspring; A few sought to be freed from the Evil one. They all knew well the words of Jesus in the Gospels: " Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father." (John 14:12). "And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well." (Mark 16:17-19).

I was particularly struck by the presence of Juan Fernández's parents, an 8 year old boy whom they brought from Ecuador to the Clínica Universitaria de Navarra (Navarra's University Clinic) and who died on the 15th of March. After learning about this Retreat of Evangelization, they set about traveling to Valladolid to seek the Lord's consolation, not knowing - what a serendipity!, providence says I - that the Doctor who treated their son, turned out to be coming to the Retreat too and the person who was actually giving them a lift.

Another very significant case: that of a young man who resolved to give up drugs after her mum prayed for him here. She had been praying for him for many years, as St. Monica; but this time, the second day of the Retreat, her son phoned her from his car to let her know that he was on his way. The following day, he went to Confession. Now, her mother, a medical doctor by profession, says on and on: "my son has converted". It is also striking the case of a woman who, no having been able to attend the Retreat, joined it spiritually and experienced her liberation.


Czarnków - Poland. March 8 - 11. 2012
Fr. James returned to Munich from the Gulf just before the Christmas 2012 with a very bad pneumonia and had to undergo various treatments in Germany, Austria and Spain. The pneumonia infected his both lungs, as result he could not speak with the same old voice. In between when he heard about the terrorist attack on his Muslim believers in one of the Gulf countries, he rushed to them immediately to be with them and to console them. The air conditioning in the flight increased his illness. So he had to cancel his retreats in Vienna and in Fatima, Portugal in the month of February. Many people all over the world prayed, fasted and offered Holy Masses for his recovery. Everyday Fr. James was praying for all his benefactors and well wishers who prayed for him. On 1st March He offered a Thanksgiving mass in which he remembered all who prayed for him. Now he is in good shape. He gave the first retreat of this year at Czarnokowie, in Poland from 8th March.

He conducted a renewal retreat for over 1200 people in the school auditorium in the parish of Mary Magdelene at Czarnokowie in the diocese of Poznam from  8th to 11th of March. Gaby was driving him to there from Munich for about 10 hrs. The theme of the retreat was, "be my witnesses"( Act 1:8). The parish priest Christof and his assistant Fr. Rafael together with the Community of the Divine Mercy & the Community of the Immaculate Heart of Mary organized the retreat. Fr. James was able to  preach, to pray and to celebrate mass with the same voice and power as before. Mrs Ania translated all his talks and prayers. He prayed over all by laying hands. Gaby shared her testimony and gave talks on growing in the Holy Spirit. As usual the team from Gdansk under the leadership of Ala and Agnieszka were there to help Fr. James. The Polish people have a special task

Czarnków, 2012-03-11

"The Polish people have a special task. To remain true Catholics and draw all European countries back to Jesus". Thus was the call from charismatic Indian priest Fr. James Manjackal to the people of Poland. Over a thousand people from all over Poland attended a four day long Evangelization Retreat lead by Fr. James Manjackal in Czarnków.

During the retreat, which took place from the 8th to the 10th of March in a sports hall of a Junior High School in Czarnków, Fr. James shared his testimony of physical and spiritual healing, which he experienced when he was a young priest. Since then, he said, he has offered up his life preaching the Word of God.

"You, Polish people, have a special task. To remain true Catholics and to draw all European countries back to Jesus", stated Fr. James Manjackal in an interview broadcast by KAI (Polish Catholic News Agency). He said that this is the reason why he comes so often to Poland to preach. "I come here to bring you to the path of righteousness and salvation", he said.

He also asked the Polish people to be awake, and abandon anything that doesn't come from God. He explained that the reason why the great Power of Jesus Christ cannot be experienced either in Poland or anywhere else in Europe, is because we compromise too much with evil. The devil, mentioned Fr. James Manjackal, brings darkness to our souls and makes us blind, whereas The Holy Spirit brings real wisdom and knowledge of truth.

Fr. James Manjackal explained metaphorically that in the river, one can go either with the flow or against it. "Look in the river: the living fish swim against the tide, and the dead fish go with the flow. Do you want to be living Christians or dead Christians?" asked Fr. Manjackal, stressing that a living Christian must go against the current of modern times; that is, to keep the values and rules which characterize Christian life; everything taught by the Church and in the Bible.

"Read the Bible and the Catechism of the Catholic Church; pray the Rosary and the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy; celebrate the Way of the Cross and receive the Sacraments. Only then will you see the great power of Our Lord", said Fr. Manjackal. He reminded us that God's will for our lives is our holiness.

The retreat in Czarnków was organized by the Parish of St. Mary Magdalene. However, the idea of inviting Fr. James came from Fr. Rafal Pleszewa, who is the Chaplain of Youth. "I had attended two retreats of Fr. James already. Through his ministry flows the incredible grace of God. That is the reason I wanted to share this experience with my parishioners" - said Fr. Pleszewa. He added that priests from neighboring parishes found the idea of organizing the retreat very interesting. They regarded the event as an impulse to conversion for those who attended it.

Fr. Pleszewa explained that the preparation of the retreat started last year, in October. Over two hundred people prayed and fasted. Some priests from Czarnków and neighboring localities celebrated Gregorian Masses for this intention.

"The organization of the retreat took great effort and a lot of prayer. Many people were engaged in this event: priests, lay people from prayer groups, volunteers" - said Fr. Pleszewa. He explained that the organization of this retreat was only possible once permission from the Church's authorities had been granted, and with the courtesy of the public authority.

Therefore, over a thousand people from Czarnków and surrounding areas could attend the retreat. There were people from the Archdiocese of Poznan, and from many other parts of Poland: from Ostroleka, Bialystok, Lódz and even from Rzeszów and the Province of Podkarpackie.
